In Ayurveda, Bronchial Asthma is
named as Tomaka Shvasa. It is a
special kind of allergic condition that arises, when our body reacts with one or

Agastya
Rasayana and Chyawanaprash are the most eminent medicines of Ayurveda. These
medicines are widely used for asthma treatment as prescribed in Ayurveda. The key item of chyawanprash is amla, which contains enough quantity Vitamin
C. The main important thing of this fruit is that its vitamin content stays for
a long time and will not be lost even if it is exposed to heat, which is a rare
fad in case of some other fruits and drugs.
In some of
the cases, the Agastya Rasayana is used, if an
individual is constipated. Nevertheless, the Chyawanaprash is best medication. Agastya Rasayana and Chyawanaprash are taken in the dosage
of one teaspoonful, thrice in a day. Preferably,
a dose before meals can produce best results. Both these medicines are slow-curing
remedies, but both are reliable for effectiveness and good results. In some chronic
cases, the effect of both these medicines may be evident from the rising time-gap
between two consecutive attacks.
Additionally, to have better results
in less time, take Sitopaladi Churna
four times in a day with a spoon of honey. Since, the medicine is expected to
cause discomfort in throat, it is good to intake the churna with some honey. Kanalwsava, Suvarna-Pushpasuga Rasa, Swasha-Kasa-Chintamani Rasa are some
other recommended Ayurvedic medicines
for asthma. The duration and dosage of these herbs depends upon the intensity
of the syndrome. Asthma treatment can
